The geneMAP™ FIP1L1-PDGFRA Detection Kit is intended for detection and quatitation of FIP1L1 exon 9/PDGFRA exon 12, FIP1L1 exon 10/PDGFRA exon 12, FIP1L1 exon11/PDGFRA exon 12, FIPL1 exon 12/PDGFRA exon 12 & FIPL1 exon 13/PDGFRA exon 12 fusion transcripts in bone marrow or peripheral blood samples of patients who have been diagnosed with idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome and eosinophilia-associated myeloproliferative disorders. The results obtained are intended to be used as an aid to monitor efficacy of treatment in patients undergoing therapy, and for minimal residual disease (MRD) follow-up to monitor disease relapse.
